Notes

Spencer Arrighetti takes the mound today looking to improve to 5-0 as the Astros try to secure a series win in Cincinnati. Arrighetti has allowed two earned runs or fewer in each of his four starts this season and has emerged as one of the few stabilizing forces in Houston’s injury-ravaged rotation. The Astros snapped a six-game losing streak with Friday’s 10-0 win behind seven scoreless innings from Mike Burrows.
