HOUSTON, TX – December 19, 2025 – The Houston Astros announced their Summer Enrichment Camp, a weeklong program combining baseball instruction with hands-on STEM education at Daikin Park from Monday, July 14, through Friday, July 18, 2026.
Designed for young learners ages 7-12, the camp goes beyond traditional baseball fundamentals to teach important lessons in teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking. Through engaging activities and guided instruction from Astros staff, participants will build confidence, communication skills, and a deeper appreciation for America’s pastime.
The camp will operate Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM until 3:15 PM, with drop-off beginning at 8:30 AM and pickup required before 3:30 PM. No late pickup options are available, and missed days will not be refunded.
Camp activities include a mixture of classroom lessons and ballpark experiences, featuring an educational tour of Daikin Park, a photo scavenger hunt, a visit from mascot Orbit, and mock press conferences. Astros front office staff will conduct Career Day sessions, discussing their roles and career paths in the sports industry.
Each enrolled child will receive an official camp shirt and mementos throughout the week. The camp includes special tours and guest speakers, creating a fun and enriching experience for young Astros fans.
The cost is $850 per student. Adequate water and lunches will be provided daily, rotating between chicken tender boxed meals, hot dog boxed meals, and pizza. Outside food and beverages are not permitted except for students with documented food allergies.
The enrollment deadline is June 27, 2025. Interested families must complete an enrollment form and submit a notarized Emergency Procedure Card to tourstaff@astros.com before the first day of camp. Missed days cannot be made up or refunded.
