Astros Announce BRUCE BOLT as Title Sponsor of College Classic

HOUSTON, TX – December 17, 2025 – The Houston Astros and BRUCE BOLT have announced a multi-year naming rights agreement for the annual College Classic held at Daikin Park, renaming the tournament the BRUCE BOLT College Classic benefitting the Astros Foundation.

The 26th annual tournament is scheduled for February 27-March 1, 2026, and features one of the strongest fields in recent history. The six-team, nine-game tournament includes four programs that competed in the 2025 NCAA Regionals.

The field is headlined by SEC champion Texas and national runner-up Coastal Carolina, along with AAC champion UTSA, perennial powerhouse Ole Miss, Baylor, and Ohio State.

The tournament opens Friday, February 27, with Ohio State facing UTSA at 11:05 AM, followed by Baylor versus Ole Miss at 3:05 PM. The marquee opening day matchup features Coastal Carolina against Texas at 7:05 PM in their first-ever meeting.

Saturday’s slate includes Ole Miss versus Ohio State at 11:05 AM, UTSA versus Coastal Carolina at 3:05 PM, and the renewal of the longtime rivalry between Baylor and Texas at 7:05 PM. Sunday concludes with Coastal Carolina facing Ole Miss at 10:05 AM, Texas versus Ohio State at 2:05 PM, and UTSA against Baylor at 6:05 PM.

The College Classic is regarded as one of the premier collegiate baseball tournaments in the nation and continues to attract top-ranked programs, fans, and scouts from every Major League organization. The tournament is the longest-running of its kind, having been continuously played at the home of the Houston Astros in downtown Houston since 2001.
