Astros Light Up The Park Features Special Movie Nights at Daikin Park

HOUSTON, TX – December 12, 2025 – The Houston Astros announced that Astros Light Up the Park presented by Houston Methodist will feature two special movie nights as part of the holiday celebration running through January 4, 2026, at Daikin Park.

Date Night, scheduled for Saturday, December 13, will feature a screening of the romantic comedy “The Holiday” amid the ballpark’s illuminated holiday displays. Guests can enjoy the film while surrounded by more than 500,000 lights and over 200 themed displays throughout the stadium.

Family Movie Night on Saturday, December 20, presents “The Polar Express” for kids and families. The event includes holiday activities, hot chocolate, and access to the full Light Up the Park experience featuring a winding path through the concourse, service level, and onto the field.

Both movie nights begin with a 3:30 PM showing, with Light Up the Park entry available at 5:00 PM. When purchasing tickets, guests should select the 5:00 PM-6:00 PM time slot and the combined Movie Ticket & Light Entry option.

The fully climate-controlled attraction includes photo opportunities with Santa Claus and Orbit, access to festive menus curated by Aramark featuring holiday cookies and hot chocolate, and the transformed Astros Team Store offering holiday merchandise. Orbit appears on Monday nights only.

Additional themed nights during the event include Military Appreciation Night on December 3, Ugly Sweater Night on December 6, and Pajama Night on December 23 and December 29.

Tickets for Astros Light Up the Park range from $20 to $45, with add-ons available including Santa photos, Orbit photos, and face painting. Children ages 2 and under are admitted free.
