Yordan Alvarez Needs Your Vote to Start the All-Star Game
Phase 2 of All-Star voting is underway, and Houston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez is in it. He advanced as one of two finalists at designated hitter in the American League and is now going head-to-head with Toronto’s George Springer for the starting spot at the Midsummer Classic in Philadelphia.
Vote totals from Phase 1 have reset, so every vote counts from scratch. Fans can vote once per day at MLB.com through Thursday, July 2 at 11 a.m. CT.
Alvarez leads the AL in home runs, OPS, extra-base hits, and total bases. The case makes itself. Now go make it count.
