Daikin Park is getting a distinctly Texas upgrade.

Whataburger will debut inside the Houston Astros’ home ballpark on Friday, Feb. 27, bringing its signature burgers, fries, and shakes to the concourse ahead of a busy early-season stretch that includes the World Baseball Classic and the start of the 2026 regular season.

The new stand opens during the Bruce Bolt College Classic and will remain operational for the World Baseball Classic games scheduled in Houston from March 6–14, as well as throughout the Astros’ 2026 campaign.

Prime Concourse Location

The Whataburger stand appears to occupy the same high-traffic location long associated with Shake Shack. There has been no public confirmation regarding any change to Shake Shack’s status at the ballpark.

Aramark, Daikin Park’s food and beverage operator, will run the Whataburger location.

What’s on the Menu?

According to the company’s announcement, fans can expect:

  • #1 Whataburger
  • #2 Double Meat Whataburger
  • #3 Triple Meat Whataburger
  • French fries
  • Onion rings
  • Chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry shakes

The Astros open the 2026 regular season March 26 at Daikin Park against the Los Angeles Angels.

With nearly three million fans expected to pass through the gates this year, the addition of a Texas staple adds another draw to Houston’s evolving ballpark food lineup.
