HOUSTON — The BRUCE BOLT College Classic benefiting the Astros Foundation wrapped up last week at Daikin Park, showcasing some of the top programs in college baseball.
The 2026 tournament field featured Texas, Coastal Carolina, Baylor, Ohio State, UTSA, and Ole Miss, with nine games played over the three-day event.
Daikin Park welcomed a total attendance of 29,483 fans for the weekend, including a tournament-high crowd of 13,427 on Friday.
Texas was crowned tournament champion after going 3-0 with a +17 run differential in victories over Coastal Carolina, Baylor, and Ohio State. UTSA also finished 3-0 but placed second after posting a +12 run differential.
Several standout performances earned players spots on the 2026 All-Tournament Team.

Texas third baseman Temo Becerra was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.
The 27th annual BRUCE BOLT College Classic will return to Daikin Park next season for another nine-game tournament scheduled for March 5–7, 2027. The participating teams will be announced at a later date.
