MLB, Astros Join Stand Up To Cancer at All-Star Game
Major League Baseball’s annual Stand Up To Cancer moment returns during the 2026 All-Star Game on July 14, bringing players, coaches, and fans together in support of those affected by cancer.
The tribute, a fixture of the Midsummer Classic since 2008, takes place at the end of the fifth inning. During the ceremony, fans throughout the stadium hold placards honoring or remembering loved ones impacted by cancer, setting aside team rivalries for a shared cause.
The annual moment serves as a reminder that every placard represents a personal story—and that the baseball community stands together in the fight against cancer.
Fans who would like to support the cause can create a personalized placard in honor or memory of a loved one and make a donation through the Stand Up To Cancer campaign ahead of the All-Star Game.
