Daikin Park Debuts Creative New Food Options for 2026 Season

February 4, 2026

The Houston Astros unveiled an inventive lineup of new food offerings for the 2026 season at their annual media luncheon Tuesday, featuring everything from brisket donuts to over-the-top onion creations designed to give fans a distinctly Houston experience.

The new menu was introduced by Aramark Sports + Entertainment, Daikin Park’s exclusive food and beverage partner. In total, the ballpark will feature 14 new menu items and three new concession concepts as part of an expanded culinary push for the upcoming season.

The Headliner: Brisket Donut

The headliner of the rollout is the brisket donut, a savory dish made with two round pieces of deep-fried brisket served alongside barbecue sauce and macaroni and cheese. According to Daikin Park concessions chef James Hackl, the item is the result of extensive research and development, noting that the ballpark smokes hundreds of briskets daily, allowing the culinary team to experiment with new preparations.

A Crawford Street Favorite Returns

Another standout addition is the Crawlache, a playful take on the kolache that originated on Crawford Street behind left field. The item features puff pastry wrapped around a Slovacek’s pepper jack sausage on a stick and is served with honey mustard for $9.99.

Introducing the Boomin’ Onion Station

One entirely new concept coming to the ballpark is the Boomin’ Onion Station, located behind Section 106. The stand will offer a colossal pile of onion rings served with boom boom sauce or ranch dressing, with optional Texas-inspired upgrades. Fans can choose the H-Town Hot Boomin’ Onion, topped with popcorn chicken, honey hot aioli and a special H-Town hot sauce, or the BBQ Burnt End Boomin’ Onion, layered with pork burnt ends, queso blanco, pickled red onions, barbecue sauce and barbecue aioli.

Pizza Gets a Ballpark Twist

Pizza offerings are also expanding with the Crawford Dog Pizza, which transforms the Astros’ signature hot dog into pizza form with sliced hot dogs, sweet barbecue sauce, Crawford Bock bacon-onion jam, mozzarella and yellow mustard. A Buffalo chicken pizza option will also be available this season.

More Snacks Around the Park

Additional new items include deep-fried pickles coated in a cereal blend and served with ranch dressing, available at Sections 206 and 420.

New Drinks for 2026

The drink menu is expanding as well, with specialty cocktails now available throughout Daikin Park. New options include Beam & Lemonade, Tito’s Crush City Mule, Branson & Cola, and Hornitos Ranch Water.

The new offerings reflect the Astros’ continued focus on blending traditional ballpark fare with bold, locally inspired creations as fans return to Daikin Park for the 2026 season.
