The Houston Astros will host the “Race to the Pennant,” presented by Houston Methodist, on Saturday, May 2, giving runners the opportunity to start and finish inside Daikin Park.
The event includes a 5K, a 10K, and the Orbit Dash for kids. All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt, a finisher medal, and access to a post-race celebration on the stadium concourse.

Early bird pricing runs through February 28:
- 5K: $40
- 10K: $50
- Orbit Dash: $10
Standard pricing from March 1 through April 1:
- 5K: $45
- 10K: $55
Late registration from April 2 through May 1:
- 5K: $50
- 10K: $60
The Orbit Dash price remains $10 throughout.
Course Information
The race begins on Hamilton Street, heads toward Elysian Street, and loops back at Harrington Street before returning to Daikin Park.
5K participants will continue along Congress Street before entering the ballpark to finish. The 10K route includes an additional loop, turning onto Crawford Street before heading back toward the stadium.
The Orbit Dash will start and finish on Hamilton Street, with children completing a lap around the exterior of Daikin Park.
