The Houston Astros already have a date for their first game of 2027.
The Astros will open Grapefruit League play on Friday, Feb. 19 against the Washington Nationals at CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, Florida. Houston will play 30 Spring Training games, including 15 at home.
The 2027 season will mark the Astros’ 11th Spring Training at CACTI Park, which they share with the Nationals. The two teams have separate training facilities on opposite sides of the complex.
A Few Unusual Visitors
Houston’s 15-game home schedule includes rare visits from the New York Yankees on March 6 and the Detroit Tigers on March 2. The Astros will also host the Mets four times and the Cardinals three times during Grapefruit League play.
The home schedule includes two Friday games, four Saturday games, and two Sunday games.
