World Baseball Classic 2026: Which Games Will Be Played at Daikin Park in Houston?

Daikin Park in Houston will host World Baseball Classic games for the first time during the 2026 tournament, including Pool B competition and quarterfinal matchups scheduled for March 2026, the Houston Astros announced.

The ballpark will host 10 pool-play games from March 6–11, featuring teams competing in Pool B: the United States, Mexico, Italy, Great Britain, and Brazil. Following pool play, Daikin Park will also host two quarterfinal games on March 13–14, featuring the top two teams from Pool B and the top two teams from Pool A.

The 2026 World Baseball Classic, the sixth edition of the international tournament, will take place from March 5–17 and include 20 teams divided into four pools of five. In addition to Houston, pool-play games will be held at:

  • Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico (Pool A)

  • Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan (Pool C)

  • loanDepot park in Miami (Pool D)
    Miami will also host the semifinals on March 15–16 and the championship game on March 17.

With the addition of Daikin Park, Houston becomes the ninth Major League ballpark to host World Baseball Classic games, joining previous venues such as Dodger Stadium, Oracle Park, Petco Park, Angel Stadium, Rogers Centre, Chase Field, and loanDepot park.

The United States, runner-up in 2023 and champion in 2017, will compete in Pool B at Daikin Park. If Team USA advances, it will play its quarterfinal game in Houston on March 13.
