The Houston Astros are bringing holiday magic to Daikin Park with the launch of “Astros Light Up the Park presented by Houston Methodist,” Houston’s newest and most unique holiday celebration running from November 22, 2025, through January 4, 2026.
This immersive experience, designed for people of all ages, offers a magical blend of lights, sounds, and holiday joy with an Astros twist. The illuminated path winds through the main concourse, down to the service level, and finishes on the field, creating an unforgettable walk-through experience.
Special Theme Nights
The event features five special theme nights throughout the season:
Military Appreciation Night (December 3) honors all who serve, with special military discounts available for active-duty personnel and veterans with proper documentation.
Ugly Sweater Night (December 6) invites guests to wear their most outrageous holiday sweaters, with photos shared on social media platforms.
Date Night (December 13) features a romantic evening with an on-field screening of “The Holiday” at 9:00 PM, preceded by a stroll through glowing light displays. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets.
Family Movie Night (December 20) showcases “The Polar Express” at 3:00 PM, complete with holiday activities and hot cocoa for the whole family.
Pajama Night (December 29) encourages guests to wear their comfiest holiday pajamas for a laid-back evening of festive fun.
Attractions and Add-Ons
Guests can enjoy Astros-inspired and Houston-themed light displays, immersive holiday music, and specialty holiday menus curated by Aramark featuring classic cookies, hot chocolate, and festive treats. The Astros Team Store will be transformed into a holiday wonderland with new Astros holiday merchandise.
Special guests include Astros Santa for holiday photos and Orbit photo opportunities every Monday night. Additional add-ons available for purchase include Santa photos, wheelchair rentals, Orbit photos, parking, and face painting.
Hader Toy Drive
Kicking off the holiday celebration, the Hader Toy Drive benefiting BEAR (BE A Resource) will take place on November 24 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Daikin Park, giving fans the opportunity to donate new toys.
